Dan Ponder has provided business and marketing communications consulting for 28 years – 25 of them at Franco. As CEO, his focus is on Franco’s business development and operations oversight. He also coaches Franco clients in business and marketing plan development, crisis management, executive outreach, and corporate charitable giving.

Ponder exemplifies Franco’s commitment to the community with his active involvement in civic and charitable organizations. They include, Detroit Regional Chamber Foundation Board and Detroit Regional Chamber Audit Committee; Michigan Chamber of Commerce Board Chairman, Executive Committee and Chair of its Energy, Telecommunications & Technology Committee; Past Chairman of the Board for Crime Stoppers of Michigan and University of Michigan – Dearborn Henry Ford Estate – Fair Lane Advisory Board.

Formerly, Ponder was a member of the Private Company Advisory Service of Deloitte. He holds an executive MBA degree from Michigan State University’s Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Michigan State University’s Business School. He is a graduate of the Detroit Regional Chamber’s Leadership Detroit X.
