Franco gives the scoop on the busy month of June. We’ve traveled around Detroit, Michigan and the United States, networking, supporting our clients and making magic happen. Here’s what we’ve been up to in the June edition of Franco on the Town:

Franco had a magical night working at Hour Detroit’s Best of Detroit Party! Intern Kelsea, Jen, Andrea and Rene provided onsite media assistance during the party…

…while Geoff, Marie, Mary and Adriane inspired attendees to share their #DetroitInspiresMe at the Franco booth.

Franco President Tina totes her heels around Mackinac Island during the Detroit Regional Chamber’s annual Mackinac Policy Conference. Tina and Dan attended the event along with many Franco clients and local business and civic leaders. Franco left the island with new friends and a long to-do list!

Jen joined Hilary Notaro from HOUR Detroit Magazine and Max Greenshields of Event Theory on WXYZ  as they discussed how they’d bringing the theme of magic to life at the HOUR Best of Detroit party.

James visited the original Buddy’s Pizza location on Buddy’s Pizza Day (June 23) to meet artist Paul Adams and promote the pizzeria’s “I Want Buddy’s” social media contest.

Lauren attended the FOX 2 Detroit segment with Vittoria Katanski, Hatch Detroit and Joe Posch, the very first Comerica Hatch Detroit Contest winner and owner of Hugh, to discuss the contest and the many unique gifts Hugh has for Father’s Day and beyond.

Tina networked at the Detroit Economic Club luncheon on Gender Equality in the Workplace.

James stopped by the TV20 studios to talk about Milford’s Currents Music Festival with Main Street’s favorite downtown eatery, Smoke Street!

Andrea beat the heat with The Salvation Army and Denali Flavors for the 10,000 Scoop Challenge in Cadillac Square. More than 30 Detroit media personalities, including the WJBK Fox2 Detroit team, Evrod Cassimy and Kim DeGiulio from WDIV, and WCSX‘s Doug Podell (just to name a few!), lent a hand to serve Dean’s Country Fresh Moose Tracks ice cream. Detroit came hungry – The Salvation Army raised over $10,000 to support their critical social services and programs for those in need.

Jen joined Pretzel Bell’s Chef, Mike Trombly, and his daughter on Fox 2 to cook up a tasty Father’s Day treat.

Tina was at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. with SMDI this month to host a luncheon with members of the Washington Automotive Press Association (WAPA).

James and Joe joined thousands of children on Belle Isle for the 35th Annual Metro Detroit Youth Day.

Jen attended Fox 2 with Hour Detroit Magazine’s Lauren Mohon and The Whitney’s Dave Duey to cook a marvelous treat for the Best of Detroit party.

Tina attended the opening ceremony for the new Spirit of Detroit Plaza, led by Downtown Detroit Partnership and the City of Detroit.

Tina and Dan took some time to explore Washington, D.C.’s Chinatown district when they weren’t meeting with SMDI’s construction council.

Rene, Jen, Adriane and Elizabeth learned about building relationships with journalists at PRSA Detroit’s Relationships Still Matter event.

It was a fun month – and it’s only the beginning of summer in Detroit!
