We recently added three new Franconians: Maddie Barnes as an assistant account executive, Jeff Sell as a senior account executive and James Wilson as a digital account executive.
As an assistant account executive, Maddie assists Franco’s B2B team on their automotive and technology accounts. Previously, Maddie supported and media relations efforts for B2C and nonprofit accounts at a Chicago-based PR firm. She also managed social media for the Wharton Center for Performing Arts in East Lansing, Mich. Maddie served as Orchesis Dance Company’s director of marketing throughout her senior year of college. Maddie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in advertising with a minor in public relations from Michigan State University.
Jeff works with Franco’s nonprofit clients and is responsible for media relations, content creation, and developing communications strategies in his senior account executive role. He joins the Franco team after spending the six years in television news: an executive news producer at WOOD-TV in Grand Rapids, Mich., a news producer at WXYZ-TV Channel 7 in Detroit and a producer at 9&10 News in Cadillac, Mich. Jeff earned his Bachelor of Applied Arts degree from Central Michigan University, majoring in broadcast and cinematic arts, with minors in both journalism and sports studies.
James joins the Franco team to support social media and digital marketing on the consumer team. He has a strategic mind creating content for marketing and communications. Prior to joining Franco, James served as a social media specialist for the University of Michigan. There, he created content for U-M’s primary social media channels. He later joined U-M’s Center for Entrepreneurship as a marketing and communications specialist. In this role he streamlined the center’s internal and external communication efforts. James holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in integrative public relations from Central Michigan University with minors in leadership and multimedia design.
A warm welcome to all three of you!
