Ashley Ortiz

Strategic Growth Coordinator

As a strategic growth coordinator, Ashley Ortiz supports Franco’s business development efforts by helping manage the systems, structure and organization that keep the agency’s growth initiatives moving forward. She partners closely with Franco’s business development team to manage the agency’s CRM, support proposal development and strengthen internal processes. Ashley also provides administrative support to CEO Tina Kozak.

Ashley joined Franco in May 2026 after building a diverse portfolio of internships and leadership experiences across corporate, nonprofit, higher education and government organizations. Her background includes internships with Wayne County, Wayne State University Libraries, Joyson Safety Systems, Yelp and PRSA Detroit, where she gained hands-on experience in strategic communications, marketing, community engagement and content creation. At Wayne State University, Ashley also served as a peer mentor for public relations courses, co-president and internal communications officer for the Filipino Student Society, coordinator for the Campus Activities Team and editor-in-chief and president of the university’s PRSSA chapter.

A lifelong metro Detroiter, Ashley enjoys exploring local coffee shops, trying new restaurants and attending concerts. When she’s not discovering a new favorite spot around the city, she’s spending time at home with her family and two cats, Tobi and Juna.

Ashley earned a Bachelor of Arts in public relations from Wayne State University, where she was recognized with the Howard A. Donnelly Award from the Wayne State University Alumni Association for her leadership and dedication to serving the campus community. She is also certified in the Spin Sucks PESO Model.
