Another month behind us – crazy to think how quickly 2017 is disappearing. This month was like the first day of school for us Franconians as we stepped inside our brand new office. We worked out with the United States Marines and helped welcome the Sistine Chapel Choir to Detroit. See what else we were up to in September:
We’re Home
In September the Franco team moved into our newly renovated office. Same great space and view inside the GMRENCEN as our old office, but completely updated with an open layout, modern furniture and the perfect design for a cohesive and productive work environment. Shout out to Dpop!
0700 Reporting For Duty
Lauren, Rene and Andrea reported for their 0700 PT workout during Marine Week Detroit in Cadillac Square. Working out is hard and it’s even harder when it’s led by the United States Marines!
Let’s Get Digital!
Adriane, Elizabeth and Rene attended the Digital Summit Detroit event at Cobo Center – learning about all things digital and staying up to date on the latest social media, marketing and advertising trends.
Detroit Has A Homecoming, Too!
Tina and Elizabeth attended the fourth annual Crain’s Detroit Homecoming event. They met many Detroit expats looking to reconnect and rediscover the city during the exclusive event.
Take Me Out to the Ballgame!
James met members of the Sistine Chapel Choir at a special event hosted by client Comerica Bank during the Choir’s first ever performance in Detroit. The Choir hasn’t visited the United States in 30 years!
Media Matters with Al Johnson
Franco had a special guest – Al Johnson from Fox 2 Detroit. We regularly invite media to our office to have an open dialogue about journalism and public relations and how both industries can work best together.
Marketing – A Love Story
Another Renaissance Readers book club is in the bag. This time Franco collectively discussed Marketing a Love Story: How to Matter to Your Customers by Bernadette Jiwa.
Oorah – Franco and the Marines Team Up
Oorah! Andrea attended a Fox 2 Get Fit segment with Gunnery Sergeant Sara Pacheco, Corporal Torre Hamm and Sergeant Joseph McGinnis to promote Marine Week Detroit. The PT workouts were part of more than 80 public events that took place that week. Overall, Marine Week Detroit received more than 560 earned media placements reaching more than 541 million people.
Savor Detroit is in the D
Marie and Dana joined client Lauren Mohon of Hour Detroit and Chef Joseph VanWagner of Bistro 82 to discuss Savor Detroit at FOX 2 Detroit.
On A Boat!
Andrea and Chase took a break from The Salvation Army Red Kettle planning with a pontoon boat ride at The Salvation Army’s Echo Grove Camp and Retreat Center in Leonard, Michigan.
Community Fun
Franco team members smile with PAWs during the Comerica Park Perks Season End celebration. The public was invited to Comerica Park to get behind-the-scenes access to the ballpark, meet PAWs, Detroit Tigers alum Dan Petry and Dave Rozema, get their face painted and more all while giving back to the community. Comerica Bank raised $6,000 from the event and all proceeds benefited youth groups supported through Comerica’s charitable giving program.
Keep Your Brand Relevant
Marie and Elizabeth attended AMA Detroit’s Are Your Relevant? Building and Effective Brand Position and Strategy event at WeWork.
