Between media segments and planning a two-location simultaneous premiere for “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” we had a busy December, but we still found time to have some holiday fun. Here’s our December highlights:
Things got fishy at Fox 2
Account Executive Kellen Crow and Account Supervisor Marie Boyle attended a WJBK Fox 2 cooking segment featuring mouthwatering smoked whitefish dip prepared by Chef Cory Beattie of client Jolly Pumpkin. Bastone Brewery’s General Manager Jason Vankereyk joined in to share a few of the latest craft beer offerings at both Bastone and Jolly Pumpkin.
Making the ‘Good’ List
Adriane was in luck when she met the big guy from the North Pole! Santa came to town to read to children at Childtime Day Care inside client GMRENCEN, and Adriane was on hand to coordinate and take photos. She definitely made the good list this year!
Know Luke Skywaker, We Do
The Emagine team had a busy December with the unveiling of Emagine Novi’s Super EMAX and the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The force was with Digital Marketing Specialist Adriane Davis and Account Manager Rene Cizio the morning of Emagine Novi’s Re-Grand Opening as they coordinated media relations and managed social media.
Happy Holidays All Around
We had a blast celebrating the holidays in our office in early December. We transformed the office into an upscale lounge for the night. Between food stations, our cheeky holiday video, games, prizes, Polaroid photos and good company, the night flew by!
Jungle Fever
Geoff, Andrea, Pat and Tina took a trip to the jungle as part of a special-screening of “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” a night before the nation-wide public release. Client Arbor Hospice and Hospice of Michigan hosted simultaneous movie releases in Grand Rapids and Ann Arbor to benefit the Jo Elyn Nyman Anchors Programs for Children.
Holiday Headquarters takes the Spotlight
Assistant Account Executive Dana Blankenship and Account Executive Lauren Connor provided media relations support as Woodward Throwbacks and Holiday Headquarters took center stage at Fox 2. Holiday Headquarters is a three-week pop-up shopping event featuring local Detroit businesses hosted inside client GMRENCEN.
We work at WeWorks!
President Tina Kozak and Account Supervisor Dan Horn were invited to host a lunch and learn at WeWork’s Campus Martius office. They covered PR, social media and marketing tips and even served up some delicious Buddy’s Pizza.
Santa – We know him!
We had time to take a quick break and chat with our favorite red-suited man just before the holidays – ugly Christmas sweaters included!
The winter season is in full swing, and January looks to be just as busy as December. Be on the lookout for what we get into, soon!
