With a busy holiday season on the horizon, Franconians have been hustling nonstop. We’ve been promoting seasonal events, lighting up the night with the World’s Tallest Red Kettle and more. Here’s what November looked like at Franco:
Sipped On Castalia Cocktails
Hour Detroit magazine recently featured Midtown cocktail bar Castalia in their November issue because of its unique concept of pairing scents to enhance the drinking experience. Account Executive Dana Blankenship joined Castalia owner Kevin Peterson and Hour Detroit Associate Editor Emma Klug at Fox 2 Detroit to share the fun drink and scent combinations on air.
Attended An International Conference
Account Supervisor Dan Horn assisted client SMDI at the Greenbuild International Conference and Expo in Chicago and learned tons about sustainability in the building industry. The event hosted professionals from a variety of industries including construction, engineering, interior design, planning and architecture. All of whom are passionate about the green building movement.
Promoted Holiday Headquarters
The GMRENCEN’s pop up shops are back! Franconians love shopping, but even more so when we can sneak away at lunch to support local Detroit startups. Holiday Headquarters opened on Nov. 26 and Account Executive Dana Blankenship was on hand at Fox 2 Detroit to showcase the fun products Holiday Headquarters is featuring this year. (Be sure to get your shopping done there this month – it wraps up Dec. 14!)
Traveled To The Big Apple
President Tina Kozak and Account Manager Ann Marie Fortunate had a great day in New York City visiting our client, automotiveMastermind.
Walked in America’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
Alongside her family, Account Executive Dana Blankenship walked in America’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in support of the Detroit Goodfellows. The Corktown-based nonprofit has a goal of “No Kiddie Without a Christmas” and raises awareness for Sales Day. This day is the kickoff to its December fundraising efforts beginning the Monday after Thanksgiving.
Sponsored PRSA Detroit’s Annual Meeting
Franco was a proud sponsor of PRSA Detroit’s annual meeting at the GM Heritage Center. Senior Account Executive Megan Bonelli, President Tina Kozak, Vice President Pat Adanti-Joy and Account Director Elizabeth Robbins-Sabourin were all in attendance. In addition, Elizabeth will continue to serve on the chapter’s Board of Directors and Megan was elected to the Board for 2019.
Kicked-off Red Kettle Season
The nonprofit team were hard at work coordinating the World’s Tallest Red Kettle in Detroit’s Campus Martius unveiling – working with our client Salvation Army Eastern Michigan.
Represented at Central Michigan University
Senior Account Executives Megan Bonelli and Lauren Connor were back at it talking to talented young professionals – this time at Central Michigan University. They spent the day on campus telling students about Franco’s robust internship program.
November was busy, but it allowed us to reflect. This month made us appreciate how truly wonderful each member of our Franco family is. Keep an eye out for how December unfolds!
