In-person events and programs are back, and our Franco team could not be more excited to get back to doing what we do best – coordinating media interviews, managing in-person events and making meaningful connections with our clients and the Detroit community. Here’s what our Franconians have been up to in the last few months!
COORDINATING HIGH-IMPACT MEDIA INTERVIEWS
Tracy was on-site with The Salvation Army Eastern Michigan Division while the Bed & Bread trucks made their daily routes distributing food to Detroiters in need. Mobile care teams were also on-site administering doses of the Moderna vaccine to underserved people in Detroit – a new initiative started to make the vaccine more accessible to those without access to transportation. Our team coordinated stories with The Associated Press and Detroit Free Press surrounding the initiative.
RIBBON CUTTINGS & VIDEO SHOOTS
Andrea and Tracy attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the launch of The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center’s e-commerce store. The online retailer will sell pieces from The Salvation Army’s 31 stores in the area, and proceeds will be used to fund the rehabilitation center. The event earned media attention from WDIV ClickOnDetroit and WWJ-AM.
Andrea and Tracy were also onsite for an event with The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center, helping to direct a video tour of the facility. The pair helped to coordinate testimonials to showcase the important work the Adult Rehabilitation Center takes on – transforming the lives of those who have struggled with drug and alcohol abuse.
PICTURE THIS: PEST SOLUTIONS & PUPPIES
Our client Rose Pest Solutions was recently highlighted for successfully using a fleet of small, rescued dogs to detect bed bugs. The 12 dogs are highly trained and able to detect the scent of even one bed bug! Jeff was on-site to coordinate and attend the media interview with FOX 2 Detroit.
FREE PRIX DAY
Tina Kozak spent a beautiful, sunny day downtown on Belle Isle for client Comerica Bank’s Free Prix Day! This event was the perfect summer kick-off in the D, and we were so happy to be part of it!
A DETROIT-STYLE CELEBRATION
Rachel, Joelle and Emily attended an event with Buddy’s Pizza at the Detroit Zoo to celebrate Buddy’s 75th Anniversary. Specially approved Detroit-style pizzas were served to several of the zoo’s animals for spectators to see. The event was covered by the Detroit Free Press – you can view the photos here!
REUNITED AND IT FEELS SO GOOD
To round off an exciting quarter filled with in-person activity, we were finally able to safely hold one of our own! Our team reunited for an outdoor evening filled with games, food and tons of fun.
