The holiday season is in full swing and we’ve been out and about more times than we can count! Here’s where November brought us:

Power Play For Heroes

Senior Account Executive Rachel Burnard and Assistant Account Executive Mallary Becker had a great time supporting Stahls’ Veterans Day Open House and coordinating media coverage for the Power Play For Heroes event. The charity hockey game featured Detroit Red Wings alumni to honor U.S. veterans.

Meeting With Future PR Pros

Senior Account Executive Megan Bonelli met with aspiring PR pros at Central Michigan University’s PRSA internship fair to talk about summer opportunities…even though it snowed all day! Interested candidates can learn more about our internship program on our website.

Red Kettle Campaign Kickoff

Account Manager Andrea Kenski and Senior Account Executive Jeff Sell bundled up for an early morning at The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Kickoff event to light up the world’s largest red kettle at Campus Martius.

Our nonprofit team kicked off the 2019 Red Kettle Campaign for The Salvation Army in downtown Detroit. Team members managed on-site media interviews and social media, coordinated the event emcee, as well as timed the lighting of the world’s tallest red kettle in conjunction with the program – all in a single evening!

Professional Luncheons

President Tina Kozak attended a Detroit Economic Club Luncheon where she learned more about the creation of sustainable jobs through investment to help revive the American middle class – and she remembered to take a picture! ?

Royal Park Hotel

Talk about deck the halls! Nate Adkins and Tracy Wolf, along with Andrea Kenski and Jeff Sell (not pictured) were on-site for The Salvation Army’s sweetest event of the year: the unveiling of the giant gingerbread creation at the Royal Park Hotel. This year, the boutique hotel revealed the Enchanted Gingerbread Forest and is raising money for the nonprofit’s Red Kettle Campaign.

Crisis Communications Speaking Event

Tina Kozak spoke on a panel at the Detroit Regional Chamber’s crisis communication conference. The panel touched on solutions for best security tactics to protect your organization from cyberattacks.

Highlands Grand Opening at the GMRENCEN

Account Supervisor Lauren Connor and Tina Kozak attended a VIP event to celebrate the grand opening of Highlands – the new restaurant that now occupies the 71st floor of the GMRENCEN. The 71st floor boasts three restaurants in total – Highlands Steakhouse, High Bar and Hearth 71. The 72nd floor is an epic event space atop Michigan’s tallest building. It was a fun event filled with great food and spectacular views.

Fashion Segment Step-In

Megan coordinated a winter fashion segment at FOX 2 for The Mall at Partridge Creek. One of the models couldn’t make it, so Megan dutifully stepped in as a last-minute model to show off those winter wardrobe essentials!

November was a busy month, but we couldn’t be more grateful. Don’t forget to check in next month to see how we finished off this amazing year as we head into 2020!
