And when it comes to promotions, earning one at Franco isn’t tied to the number of years you’ve worked at the agency.
We’re very proud of the culture we’ve built over the past 57 years. If we didn’t have an incredible group of people who embody our core values every single day, we wouldn’t have made it through this past year-and-a-half where every person and business faced challenges from the pandemic.
As we turn the corner into the second half of 2021, we are beyond thrilled that six Franco team members have moved into the next phase of their career at Franco!
Rachel Burnard – promoted from Senior Account Executive to Integrated Communications Supervisor. Rachel is an exceptional project manager, understands budgets better than most accountants and supports new Franco team members to be successful from day one. Rachel is a natural-born leader who consistently lifts up the people around her.
Emily Hebert – promoted from Executive Assistant to Integrated Communications Specialist. Since Emily joined Franco as an intern, she has been a versatile and valuable member of the team. She has great instincts for media relations and content. Her organization and persistence not only supported Tina Kozak when she was in the president role, but also immensely supported our new business, marketing and CRM efforts.
Dan Horn – promoted from Account Manager to Integrated Communications Director. Dan has consistently stepped up to manage accounts independently and with great success. He’s an excellent leader of his teams. Clients value his counsel, and he’s a strong role model for Franco’s culture.
Andrea Kenski – promoted from Account Manager to Integrated Communications Director. Andrea has stepped up to lead our nonprofit work. She has helped her teams navigate many pivots and roadblocks, particularly in this past year when fundraising was very challenging during the pandemic. Andrea’s clients appreciate her wise counsel, calming demeanor and creative programming. She mentors and supports her teams, celebrates their successes and always shines a light on their great work.
Catherine Pace – promoted from Digital Account Executive to Senior Integrated Communications Specialist – Digital. Catherine started at Franco two weeks after we began remote work in March 2020. Even though it was several months before she met colleagues in person, that didn’t stop her from developing meaningful relationships with her coworkers and clients. Beyond the everyday skills required for her digital role, Catherine has shown great potential in the way she listens, thinks critically and makes strategic suggestions for enhanced digital programs.
Lexi Trimpe – promoted from Senior Digital Account Executive to Integrated Communications Supervisor – Digital. Lexi has added so much to the Franco team since she joined us a few years ago from the journalism world. Not only has Lexi helped us level up our digital services and win exciting new business, but she has also emerged as our digital leader. Clients are always impressed with Lexi’s strategic thinking, accountability and presentation skills.
Did you notice a difference in the titles before and after promotions? To coincide with the promotions, we introduced new titles across the agency.
Why change titles? As the PR industry has evolved, so has our agency. We have deep roots in PR thanks to our 57 years in business, but over the past several years, we’ve added different service offerings and embraced the power of integrated communications. We’ve been educating our clients on the value of integrated communications and how programs are much stronger when paid, earned, shared and owned elements are working together in harmony.
As we reflected on our growth as an agency, we realized our titles didn’t align with who we are now and who we want to be in the future – both as a company and as professionals in this industry. To truly embrace integrated communications, we felt it was important that our titles better aligned with the incredible work we produce for our clients. Head to our Franco Family page to see all our team members and their new titles.
We’re always on the lookout for great talent. If you want to be part of a data-driven, people-powered company that’s on the forefront of integrated communications, visit our website and submit your resume.
